How to catch a damn damsel out of your reef!
This my story on how I was able to easily catch Damsels out of my reef. I noticed that the 3 damsels in my reef were terrorizing the other fish; even harrassing my yellow tang so much that it was so stressed out and decided to take a permanent dirt nap! ARG! Anyhow, after unsuccessfully trying to net them out, I decided to get them when they least expected it - in the middle of the night! I waited until about 3am when the lights have been off for a few hours and turned all the lights on. After the lights were on, they just floated around and I just netted them out. Yep, it was that easy! I'm not sure if that will work for everyone but it worked great for me.

Finally got all 3 damn damsels!
So it took a while, but I finally got all 3 damsels out of the 72g. Since my tank was covered with hair algae, I decided to take all of the rocks out and scrub them. While the rocks were out, I caught one and the other damsels was stuck in the rock that I took out. So I guess if all else fails, take the live rocks out!
Use a rubber hose - locked and loaded
If you really don't feel like screwing around with a net/stick to move the dazed damsels towards the net, just use a 1.5" hose. Get the siphon ready and plug one side with your thumb, aim with the other side. Get the hose up on the dazed damsel and then let it rip! You'll slurp the damsels up in a few seconds.
